HiBSS is HD Hyundai Electric's battery energy storage system for hybrid ships. It is integrated with the company's switchboards, generators and propulsion motors to allow hybrid operation, peak shaving and reduced engine running. HD Hyundai Electric lists BESS among its net-zero solutions.
