HD Hyundai Electric's marine rotating machines include motors for propulsion, thrusters, ballast pumps and other duties with outputs up to 34,000 kW, and generators up to 50,000 kVA. Both are available with cylindrical or salient-pole rotors, four or more poles and rated voltages up to 15,000 V. They are designed to work with engines from builders such as Wärtsilä, MAN and Daihatsu in diesel-electric and conventional power plants.
