Jastram BU transverse thrusters

Jastram's BU series of transverse thrusters spans eight sizes from the BU10 to the BU120, covering 50 to 1,200 kW with propeller diameters from 570 to 2,270 mm and input speeds of 1,200-1,800 rpm. All use fixed-pitch propellers for robustness and low maintenance. Drives can be electric, hydraulic or diesel, with control from simple three-step to frequency-controlled drives for dynamic positioning. Units can be installed vertically, horizontally or at other angles, with tunnel inlets adapted to the hull.
