Kelvion Box Coolers
Sea-chest U-tube box coolers: round (2–21 m²) and rectangular (9–120 m², bundle depth 400–1,800 mm) for small and medium vessels.
Kelvion box coolers are U-tube bundles fitted in the sea chest, so no engine-room space is needed for seawater cooling. The round design offers 2–21 m² of cooling surface at up to about 400 mm diameter. The rectangular design offers 9–120 m², about 400 mm wide, up to about 2,000 mm long and 400–1,800 mm deep, with larger custom sizes available. They cool main and auxiliary engines, bow thrusters, air-conditioning and hydraulics on tugs, barges, fishing boats, ferries, tankers, reefers, dredgers and icebreakers.
