Kelvion makes charge air coolers for internal-combustion engines and says its designs are fitted to thousands of diesel and gas engines, developed with leading engine makers. The finned-tube block has embossed fin structures and geometry optimised with CFD. Special materials and coatings reduce fouling on the gas side. The coolers are delivered plug-and-play for 2-stroke and 4-stroke diesel, gas, biogas and special-gas engines in marine and rail use.
