Adjustable pitch propeller (APP)
Four-bladed adjustable-pitch propeller, 2,200–4,400 mm and 800–4,000 kW, used with reverse gearboxes.
The Kumera 4TX is a four-bladed adjustable-pitch propeller with diameters from 2,200 to 4,400 mm for 800–4,000 kW. The pitch is set manually rather than controlled continuously, and the propeller is supplied with reverse gearboxes. It is a simpler alternative to a full CPP installation.
