MITSUI-Everllence B&W two-stroke engines
Everllence (ex-MAN) B&W low-speed engines built under licence since 1926, including LNG, methanol, ethane and LPG dual-fuel versions.
Mitsui E&S builds Everllence B&W two-stroke main engines at its Tamano works under a licence dating from 1926. The range includes conventional fuel-oil ME-C engines and dual-fuel ME-GI (LNG), ME-GIE (ethane), ME-LGIM (methanol) and ME-LGIP (LPG) versions. The company states it built the world's first ME-LGIM and ME-GIE engines, in 2015 and 2016, and ammonia and hydrogen dual-fuel engines are being developed, with hydrogen combustion tested in 2024. Cumulative B&W production passed 120 million hp in November 2024.
