LFR-AS-30 demonstration reactor
30 MWe lead-cooled fast reactor planned as newcleo's demonstration unit in France around 2031.
The LFR-AS-30 is newcleo's smallest lead-cooled fast reactor design, rated at 30 MWe. It is planned as the company's prototype in France around 2031, preceded by a precursor in Italy, and is meant to validate the technology used in the larger LFR-AS-200 and in marine concepts such as the TL-40.
