The WAF and LAF series are Reintjes' hydraulically shiftable reversible reduction gearboxes with vertical offset, covering type sizes 164 to 7760. They use case-hardened, ground helical gears, built-in hydraulic multi-disc clutches, an integrated oil sump and a seawater-resistant built-on heat exchanger, with grey cast iron or welded steel housings. Typical users are inland vessels, tugs, fishing vessels, ferries and special vessels.
