FastRoute
Route-optimisation software that plans voyages to make the most of FastRig wind propulsion.
FastRoute is SGS's weather-routing software, which optimises vessel routes to maximise the contribution of wind propulsion and the resulting fuel savings. Its accuracy was independently verified by the University of Southampton and Houlder during the FastRig sea trials. SGS says combining it with FastRig can increase savings by up to 1.5 times.
