Steerprop's CRP propulsors use two contra-rotating propellers to recover swirl energy. They cover 500-16,000 kW with propeller diameters of 1,350-6,200 mm and ice classes up to PC2, driven by a Z-drive or an integrated permanent magnet motor. The company claims up to 13.9% higher efficiency in ice-class and up to 9.1% in open-water applications versus single-propeller units.
