HJP horizontal-shaft thrusters
Self-contained horizontal-shaft pump-jet units needing no seachest, with up to 7 t static thrust.
The HJP mounts the rotor shaft horizontally, with the vertical steering shaft turning the discharge deflector for 360-degree thrust. As a self-contained unit it needs no separate seachest, simplifying installation. Static thrust reaches up to 7 t; users include research vessels, ferries and multi-purpose support ships in Antarctic waters.
