T-Pod electric podded thrusters
Electric podded thrusters with the motor in the underwater pod, for main propulsion and DP.
The T-Pod is Thrustmaster's electric podded thruster. The electric motor sits in the underwater pod and drives the propeller directly, which removes the right-angle gear train and the need for a large drive motor inside the hull. It is aimed at main propulsion and DP duty on hybrid and diesel-electric vessels.
