Toyota marine fuel cell module (2nd generation)

Toyota's marine fuel cell modules are adapted from the second-generation Mirai fuel cell system. The first marine version was developed by Toyota's European technical centre in seven months and installed on the hydrogen research vessel Energy Observer, which left Saint-Malo in February 2020. Packaged modules of about 60-80 kW each are now supplied to marine integrators such as Corvus Energy and EODev, which combine several modules with hydrogen storage and power electronics for vessels.
