The ETF40B is an enhanced version of the TF40, rated at 5,031 shp (3,752 kW) continuous and 5,850 shp (4,362 kW) boost for a weight of 647 kg. It burns marine diesel, jet fuel, kerosene or LNG. Vericor lists applications in corvettes, fast attack craft, coastal interdiction and fast patrol boats, special operations craft and air-cushion vehicles, including the US Navy's LCAC fleet and Korean navy fast craft.
