Austart

Austart air starters are designed, manufactured and assembled in Hallam, Victoria, in the Melbourne area of Australia. The brand belongs to KH Equipment, an engineering and manufacturing company with over 40 years of experience in mining, marine, defence, motorsport, and oil and gas, which describes itself as the only Australian manufacturer of air starters.

Production takes place in house on CNC lathes and mills, which gives the company control over quality, inventory and support. KH Equipment is ISO 9001 certified since 1996 and lists ATEX certification and ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) among its certifications and affiliations.

Customers are served worldwide from the Hallam facility and from a United States office in Katy, Texas. KH Equipment also imports and distributes partner products for the Australian market, including Kocsis hydraulic starters.
