Alfa Laval's marine gasketed plate heat exchangers act as engine-room central coolers, rejecting heat from the low-temperature freshwater circuit to seawater. The T-series covers T6 (DN 60) to T35 (DN 350), with capacities from about 800 kW to 35,000 kW. FlexFlow plates, OmegaPort non-circular ports and CurveFlow distribution areas improve thermal performance and reduce fouling. XL units (TS45, T45 and T50, DN 450–500) handle 45–55 MW of FSRU glycol heating.
