BeHydro hydrogen engines
Hydrogen dual-fuel and 100% hydrogen spark-ignited engines of 0.8–2.8 MW, developed by BeHydro, a joint venture of ABC and CMB.TECH.
BeHydro was set up in 2019 by ABC and CMB (now CMB.TECH) to build hydrogen combustion engines rated from about 0.8 to 2.8 MW. The range includes dual-fuel engines that burn hydrogen alongside diesel and spark-ignited engines running on 100% hydrogen. BeHydro engines are installed on the Hydrotug, and Lloyd's Register granted the first class type approval for a 100% hydrogen marine engine.
