The Cat 3500 family provides the largest Cat high-speed propulsion engines. The 3516E is a twin-turbocharged V16 of 78 L (170 x 215 mm bore/stroke) rated 1,865-2,525 bkW at 1,600-1,800 rpm, integrating an SCR aftertreatment system to meet U.S. EPA Tier 4 and IMO III, with IMO II/III switchable options.
