ZF Joystick Maneuvering System (JMS)
Joystick control of engines, transmissions and bow thrusters for twin-shaft yachts, with iAnchor station-keeping and up to six stations.
JMS lets the skipper manoeuvre a twin-engine shaft-driven yacht, cruiser or sportfishing boat with a single joystick, automatically coordinating engines, ZF transmissions and DC or hydraulic bow thrusters to move sideways, rotate on the spot or berth in tight spaces. The iAnchor function holds position against wind and current. Up to six joystick stations can be installed, and the system requires electronic engines, ZF transmissions and SmartCommand controls and can be retrofitted.
