ToughGear is ZF's heavy-duty transmission series for workboats that run long hours at high load. The gearboxes use cast-iron housings and offer reduction ratios up to 14:1 for large, slow-turning propellers on tugs, dredgers and freight vessels. Options include PTOs and PTIs and slow-speed trolling for precise manoeuvring.
