SmartCommand is ZF's electronic throttle and shift control for boats with ZF transmissions and electronically controlled engines. It is the control platform required by the ZF JMS joystick system. ZF has since also introduced the next-generation TotalCommand control system. SmartCommand is used on motor yachts, cruisers and sportfishing boats with shaftline propulsion.
