About
Danfoss IXA A/S is a privately held company within the Danfoss Group, located in Kolding, Denmark. It was founded in 2009 to develop accurate and reliable sensor technology for measuring exhaust gas emissions and enabling engine performance optimization in shipping.
In 2016 the company launched its first CEMS product, the MES 1001, for monitoring NOx, SO2 and NH3 emissions. Approximately 3,000 analyzers have since been deployed worldwide. The MES 1002 followed as an SO2/CO2 solution for monitoring scrubber system performance and documenting sulphur emissions.
Management includes Managing Director Peter Friedrich Gschwend and R&D Director Thomine Stolberg-Rohr.
