Consilium Safety

Consilium Safety traces its history to 1912 and describes itself as a world leader in fire, flame and gas safety solutions. It introduced its gas and fire detection systems in 1959 and 1967, and reports an installed base of 85,000 fire and gas detection systems in marine, transport, energy and critical infrastructure.

Consilium Safety Group is based in Gothenburg, Sweden, with a visiting address at Salsmästaregatan 21, and lists local offices in countries including Australia, Canada, Denmark, Korea, the United Arab Emirates, Türkiye and the US. Its management system is certified by DNV to ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.

The group includes Micropack (visual flame detection), Microdata (fire detection systems for the marine market), UniPOS (fire alarm solutions) and ISE (fire safety for rolling stock). Philip Isell Lind af Hageby is President and CEO.
