About
Dinex is a Danish company founded in 1982 by Jørgen and Grethe Dinesen to build exhaust systems for heavy-duty vehicles in-house and deliver them quickly through a catalog and regional warehouses. It grew from an independent aftermarket supplier into a global developer and manufacturer that also serves engine and vehicle manufacturers.
The group is family owned, headquartered in Denmark and employs over 1,800 people, with production and distribution on three continents. Torben Dinesen, son of the founders, has been CEO since 2000.
In the United States the business operates as Dinex Emission Inc. from Dublin, Georgia. Besides systems for current standards such as Euro VI and Tier 4 Final, Dinex engineers work on solutions for Euro 7 and EPA27, hydrogen engines, fuel cells and carbon-neutral fuels.
