The Niigata 17AHX is a smaller member of the AHX family for propulsion and generator duty. In-line versions from 5 to 9 cylinders deliver 500-1,125 kW at variable speed between 900 and 1,200 rpm, suiting smaller coastal vessels and auxiliary applications.
