UEC-LSJM methanol engine
Methanol dual-fuel version of the UE engine under development, targeted for completion by FY2027.
J-ENG is developing the LSJM, a methanol dual-fuel version of its UE low-speed engine, to complement its ammonia and hydrogen engines. Completion is targeted by fiscal year 2027. It will be based on the LSJ platform, which uses stratified water injection, and adds methanol to a zero-carbon line-up that includes ammonia and hydrogen engines.
