The SCHOTTEL PumpJet (SPJ) is a 360° azimuthing pump-jet installed flush with the hull, so it can operate in extremely shallow water. Ten sizes from SPJ 15 to SPJ 520 cover 50–3,500 kW at input speeds of 820–2,300 rpm. It is used as main propulsion on shallow-draft vessels and as a bow or auxiliary thruster on tugs, ferries, yachts and expedition cruise ships.
