Yanmar's commercial high-speed range includes the YM, JH, CHE, HA, LY, CXB, HY, 6GY135W and AY series. The 6AY series, a 20.4-litre six-cylinder engine, produces 555–670 kW (755–911 mhp) at 1,840–1,938 rpm, and the 12AY V12 extends the range upwards. The engines power fishing vessels, workboats, patrol and passenger craft.
