EY dual-fuel engines
Dual-fuel medium-speed engines of 1,100–2,044 kW running on natural gas or MDO/HFO, IMO Tier III; methanol version in development.
Yanmar's dual-fuel engines are based on the EY22 and EY26 platforms. Propulsion versions are the 6EY26DF (1,533 kW) and 8EY26DF (2,044 kW) at 750 rpm. Auxiliary versions are the 6EY22ALDF (1,100 kW at 900 rpm), 6EY26LDF (1,470 kW) and 8EY26LDF (1,960 kW). They can switch from diesel to gas mode under way without output restrictions and comply with IMO NOx Tier III. A methanol version is reported to be in development.
