Yanmar's small sailboat engines are the single-cylinder 1GM10 (about 9–10 mhp) and the YM series (15–30 mhp). Together with the JH series (40–110 mhp), they make Yanmar a common auxiliary engine choice for sailboats up to about 52 ft. They can be fitted with shaft drive or sail drive and are approved for HVO renewable diesel.
