Fischer Panda

The company was founded in Paderborn, Germany, in 1977 under the name Icemaster GmbH and has developed quiet generators for onboard power supply on boats and vehicles since 1986. In 1988 it acquired the rights from Fischer Generators of Passau, which gave rise to the Fischer Panda brand.

Product development, sales, logistics, customer service and production are organised from the Paderborn head office at Otto-Hahn-Str. 40. An additional factory was built in Poland in 1992, and Fischer Panda Inc. in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, has handled distribution on the American continent as an independent franchise since 1997.

Fischer Panda states that its team includes over 500 technicians and dealers in over 80 countries.
