About
Heinen & Hopman Engineering was founded in 1965 in the Netherlands as a family business by Melis Heinen and Cees Hopman. For its first eight years the company worked on air conditioning, cooling, ventilation and central heating systems in buildings; from 1972 it took on projects for commercial shipping and later for offshore, yachting and the navy.
The head office is at Produktieweg 12 in Bunschoten, the Netherlands, and the company states that it has offices and workshops in 20 countries. News on the site reports a new plant of Heinen & Hopman China in Changshu.
Its stated mission is to keep expanding in the global market for maritime climate control solutions in a future-proof way.
