The company describes itself as a global leader in key technologies for zero emission mobility, with products used in vehicles, buses, ground storage, distribution, refueling, maritime, rail and aerospace applications.

In the maritime field the company builds on its track record with hydrogen fuel systems in the automotive industry and works in close alignment with approval authorities; Hexagon Purus Maritime has received an Approval in Principle from DNV.

Maritime projects named on the site include the Zero Emission Compressed Hydrogen (ZECH) work package of the ZeroCoaster study coordinated by Vard and the UBÅT consortium for the fish farm industry.
