KBB Turbo is the trading name of Kompressorenbau Bannewitz GmbH, based in Bannewitz near Dresden, Germany. The company states more than 70 years of experience in the development and production of turbochargers and presents its current range as the ninth generation of its turbochargers.
Design and production take place in-house in Germany, and a large part of the value creation in the supply chain is regional. Development priorities named by the company include condition-based maintenance using turbocharger operating data, additive manufacturing of turbocharger components and international research cooperations in thermodynamics, system development and digitalization.
