Mecklenburger Metallguss GmbH (MMG) is a German foundry and propeller manufacturer based at Teterower Straße 1 in Waren (Müritz). The location has a long foundry tradition: the company looks back on 150 years of foundry experience, and special castings in copper alloy, in particular large ship propellers, have characterised it for more than 70 years.
Hundreds of ship propellers of all sizes leave the MMG works every year and are delivered to customers worldwide, among them propellers for the largest and fastest ships of their classes. The company carries out research on propeller design methods and new propulsion systems and works with partners and specialists on solutions for the maritime industry.
Customers are supported through sales offices in the major shipbuilding nations. The managing directors are Dr.-Ing. Lars Greitsch and Katrin Beuster, and the company is registered in Neubrandenburg under HRB 1617.
