PowerTech! Propellers

PowerTech! Propellers is based at 8101 Kingston Rd., Suite 120, in Shreveport, Louisiana, USA. It began in 1986 as a small production shop in Shreveport, serving the need for more durable, higher performance propellers for smaller outboard applications, and later extended its range to larger applications.

From that point the company concentrated on propeller and hub design, which led to products such as the patented CushionLok hub system. According to the company, nearly half a million of its propellers are in service.

Customer support is a central part of the business: staff analyse the performance data that customers report, record results in a performance database and, where goals are not met, select a replacement propeller through the pitch exchange program.
