DuraCooler Keel Cooler
One-piece 90/10 CuNi keel cooler with streamlined header and flow-diverter scoops; through-hull or flange mount, single or double pass.
The DuraCooler is a one-piece, hull-mounted keel cooler made of heavy 90/10 copper-nickel. Its streamlined header and patent-pending flow-diverter scoops push more coolant to the outer tubes. Duramax reports 17% more overall heat transfer than a square-head design, 35% more coolant flow and 45% more heat rejection in the outer tubes, and up to 42% less footprint, based on tests of the SC-48-96 size. It is offered with through-hull nozzle or flange mounting and in single-pass or double-pass plumbing.
