Johnson Cutless bearings are water-lubricated, rubber-lined bearings for propeller shafts in struts and stern tubes. The line includes precision naval brass sleeve bearings (shafts 3/4 to 6-1/2 in), non-metallic sleeve bearings with a thermoset shell and nitrile rubber liner (3/4 to 6 in), and centrifugally cast naval brass flanged bearings (2 to 15 in). Duramax says it is the most widely used water-lubricated bearing worldwide.
