Packaging and integration of Rolls-Royce marine gas turbines, including the MT30, for JMSDF warships.
KHI has long supplied gas turbine propulsion for JMSDF ships in cooperation with Rolls-Royce. For the 30FFM (Mogami-class) frigates, Rolls-Royce delivers the MT30 core. KHI then builds and assembles it into a compact package enclosure and carries out integrated shore trials of the propulsion system.
