Kongsberg's fixed-pitch propellers for merchant and naval vessels use five blades with optimised variable pitch distribution, non-linear blade skew of 18 degrees and advanced blade sections. The company says the design roughly halves propeller-induced hull vibration and machinery vibration. An optional SKF keyless steel propeller sleeve simplifies mounting.
