US azimuth thruster
Modular mechanical Z-drive azimuth thrusters from 500 kW (105P6) to 5,500 kW (US 60) for tugs, workboats and offshore vessels.
The US family is Kongsberg's modular mechanical azimuth thruster for tugs, workboats, ferries and offshore vessels. Sizes range from the 105P6 at 500 kW to the US 60 at 5,500 kW, with intermediate models such as the 205 (1,870–2,000 kW) and 355 (3,600–4,050 kW). Variants include permanent-magnet motor, ducted nozzle, dual-input and hybrid twin-input versions.
