X-DF
Low-pressure LNG dual-fuel two-stroke engines, in service since 2016, with pilot fuel below 1% of heat release.
X-DF is WinGD's low-pressure, Otto-cycle LNG dual-fuel platform, in service since 2016 and widely used on LNG carriers and large container ships. Models range from the X52DF to the X92DF, with X-DF2.0 technology to cut methane slip. WinGD quotes a 15–20% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and pilot fuel below 1% of total heat release.
