X-DF-A
Ammonia dual-fuel two-stroke engines; the X52DF-A powered EXMAR's ANTWERPEN, delivered in June 2026.
X-DF-A is WinGD's ammonia dual-fuel platform, using high-pressure injection with NOx Tier III compliance via SCR. Models span the X52DF-A to the X82DF-A. The first engines were installed in 2025, and in June 2026 an X52DF-A powered EXMAR's 46,000 m³ LPG/ammonia carrier ANTWERPEN, described as the first ocean-going ammonia-fuelled vessel. WinGD reports about 40 further X-DF-A orders.
