CM Energy Tech Co., Ltd. (CM Energy, stock code 00206.HK) is incorporated in the Cayman Islands and has been listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange since 2009. Its office is on Tsing Yi Island, New Territories, Hong Kong.
The business began in the mid-1990s in Houston, Texas, as EMER International, trading technology into China. TSC companies were set up from 2001, including manufacturing and offshore equipment companies in Qingdao in 2002 and 2006. The group listed on the Hong Kong GEM board in 2005 and acquired Global Marine Energy in 2008. China Merchants Great Wall Industrial Fund became a shareholder in 2018, and the name changed to CMIC Ocean Tech in 2019 with the TSC brand retained.
The company rebranded as CM Energy in 2023, became the largest shareholder of Huaxia Hydrogen and moved into green methanol production.
