About
The company was founded in 1951 by Salvador Galí as Talleres GALI, a mechanical construction workshop in the La Torrassa district of Hospitalet, Barcelona. Its first products were all based on compressed air: textile screen printing machinery, gearshift and reduction gearbox controls for trucks, and pneumatic starters for diesel engines, which were soon sold across Europe and worldwide.
Today the group serves the marine, oil and gas, mining and industrial markets through a worldwide network of agents, distributors and authorized workshops. Group companies include GALI Internacional, S.A. and subsidiaries in Germany, France, Italy, China, Japan and Singapore.
Galí Grup holds ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certifications and runs its own technical department and test equipment for product development. In 2026 the company marks 75 years in business.
