About

Vericor was set up in 1999 as Vericor Power Systems LLC, a joint venture of AlliedSignal (now Honeywell) and MTU Aero Engines for marine and industrial applications of gas turbines whose design goes back to a helicopter engine. It became a wholly owned subsidiary of MTU in 2002. In 2021 CSL Capital Management formed Kanaci Technologies, integrating BJ Energy Services and the acquisition of Vericor.

The headquarters opened in Alpharetta, Georgia, in 2000. The first turbine from the new facility in Greer, South Carolina, was manufactured in 2021, and the company address is 85 Beeco Rd, Greer, SC 29650, USA.

The first ETF40B engines were delivered to the US Navy in 2001 for LCAC hovercraft, and the 300th followed in 2017. Vericor reports more than 1500 installed gas turbines worldwide and over 15 million operating hours.
