The ME-LGIM (liquid gas injection, methanol) burns methanol in the Diesel cycle with fuel oil as pilot and back-up fuel, enabling near carbon-neutral operation on green methanol. It covers 6,950-82,440 kW at 56-125 rpm. Everllence reports more than 600,000 operating hours on methanol, and the engine has been widely ordered for large container ships as well as tankers and car carriers.
