Electric podded propulsors from 2.0 to 7.5 MW in pulling and ducted versions; ducted pods give 60–126 t bollard pull.
Elegance is Kongsberg's electric podded propulsion system, with the motor inside the underwater pod. Pulling pods cover 2.0–7.5 MW, and ducted versions reach up to 7.1 MW with bollard pull of 60–126 tonnes depending on size. Pushing configurations are also available. Typical uses are ferries, offshore, research and expedition vessels.
