Tenfjord steering gear (divested)
Rotary vane steering gear formerly sold by Kongsberg; the steering gear and rudder business was sold in 2024 to Norvestor and now trades as Neuver Maritime.
Tenfjord rotary vane steering gear came to Kongsberg with Rolls-Royce Commercial Marine and is used on merchant and naval ships. In September 2024 Kongsberg agreed to sell its steering gear and rudder business, including the Tenfjord and Frydenbø brands and about 160 employees, to Norvestor. The business now operates as Neuver Maritime from Brattvåg, Norway, and continues to cooperate with Kongsberg.
